The SEC has filed an emergency action against Reven Holdings, Inc. and its founders, Peter B. Lange, Michael A. Volk, and Brian D. Denomme, for an alleged offering fraud and misappropriation of assets. Since January 2019, the defendants allegedly raised at least $44 million from approximately 175 investors under the guise of developing a drug called Rejuveinix. The SEC complaint alleges the defendants misappropriated at least $8.8 million to fund personal expenses, including real estate, jewelry, and high-end cars, by funneling funds through a controlled shell company. The SEC has obtained a temporary restraining order and an asset freeze to stop the ongoing fraud.
